No primer is needed, making application simple and efficient. A light abrasion of the surface and cleaning with our uPVC Pre Cleaner removes any grease, dirt, or contaminants. The fan spray nozzle allows for even application in straight lines, with a touch dry time of 5-15 minutes and hard dry time of 45-60 minutes between each coat.

Full directions supplied with the D.I.Y products:-

Stage 1

Clean uPVC window frame using Innov8 Coatings pre-cleaner and a damp, clean cloth. 
 

Stage 2
Once completely dry, use light sand paper to abrade the surface of the uPVC window frame.
 

Stage 3
Clean the uPVC window frame for the last time using Innov8 Coatings pre-cleaner to ensure the surface is completely clear of any grime or dust. Leave to dry for 5 mins.
 

Stage 4
Use masking tape and paper to protect the exterior brickwork and glass from any paint overspray.

Stage 5
Shake Innov8 Coatings uPVC window paint vigorously for 15 seconds to ensure that the paint is completely mixed in the can. Practice spraying on a piece of cardboard or wood before spraying the uPVC window frame.

Stage 6
Once happy, start to spray the window frame from a distance of approx. 25 cm using a slow paced, even technique.

Stage 7
Once you have given the window its first coat, wait 10-15 minutes for the paint to dry. Then repeat stage 6 twice more until the window frame is completely covered.

Stage 8
Once the paint is completely dry, remove the masking tape and paper to reveal your just like new anthracite grey uPVC window.
