HOW TO PAINT your UPVC WINDOW

Step 1 - Preparation

To kick things off, make sure to shield the glass and walls surrounding the uPVC window frame with masking tape and use a protective sheet on the floor to catch any potential drips.

Step 2. Degrease, Purify and Dry

Start by giving the uPVC window frame a thorough clean with a degreaser, then wipe down with a damp cloth ensuring the surface is thoroughly clean of any lingering contaminants such as dirt, dust or grease.

Step 3. Sand and Dry

Prepare your uPVC window frame by sanding it to eliminate any irregularities on the surface like old paint, or any impediments that could affect the final finish. Wipe down with a damp cloth for the final time. Always ensure that the surface is completely dry before proceeding with the painting process.

Now, you're all set to begin the exciting part of painting your uPVC windows.

Step 4. Spray and Perfect

Application is a breeze. Brush an even coat over the entire surface of the uPVC window frame, using long even strokes. 

Repeat the process until the entire surface is covered, allowing 30 minutes between each coat.
